The United Way of Winnipeg, along with the Urban Exchange, conducted a survey last month on poverty in our city. They wanted to get the ideas and opinions from average Winnipeggers on what can be done to alleviate the problem.
The United Way reached out to ChrisD.ca for help in spreading the word about the survey. Through a series of posts over the last two months, we helped the Urban Exchange get the exposure they wanted. Eric Friesen, director of engagement at the United Way, said he would personally deliver Cupcakery cupcakes to the website or blog who brought in the most traffic.
