Two new cases of the H1N1 flu virus have been confirmed in the province, Manitoba Health said Thursday.
A male from Winnipeg has contracted the virus, as well as a male from a First Nation community in the Burntwood health region.
This raises the total cases in Manitoba to 40.
To deal with the flu virus in First Nation communities, three additional doctors have been provided, along with 45 courses of antiviral treatments and 10,000 surgical and 2,600 N95 masks.
