Get those fiddle fingers ready. The Carman Fiddle Festival begins this weekend from August 7 to 9 in Carman, Manitoba. The festival kicks off Friday at 6 p.m. with a Ukrainian dinner — which you know will be homemade and worth the trip out there.
The fiddling itself takes place on Saturday afternoon with the top fiddler walking away with $1,000 cash.
The weekend will also include two dinners, dances and other entertainment.
Ticket prices vary and a list of scheduled events is available on the festival’s website.
