Obby Khan - Chips

Those aren’t leaves covering that van — it’s 700 lbs of potato chips (give or take) courtesy of Winnipeg Blue Bomber Obby Khan.

The offensive lineman got some sweet salty revenge on the vehicle of CURVE 94.3′s Jay Richardson this morning. For those out of the loop, Obby made regular weekly visits to the radio station during the season and liked to bring his own snacks to munch on. That is, until Jay got his mitts on them and cleared out all of Obby’s chips. What nerve.

    Agreed. We’ve got how many thousands of hungry people in this city? Not that chips are a good source of nutrition, but a bag of chips in a food hamper would be nice. The less fortunate deserve a bit of junk food too.

    Wow. Bitter much guys? Obby got those chips from Old Dutch. They were from a batch that was cooked too long, and were not suitable for sale. They were destined for the incinerator until Obby gave them a better home, namely my winshield. Lighten up fellas.

    Also, if you’re concerned about the less fortunate this holiday season, join Obby and us at Curve 94.3 at St Vital Centre in December as we raise a ton of money and collect a bunch of food and toys for the Christmas Cheer Board with the 27th annual Christmas Miracle. I know previous commenters will jump at the chance to put their money where their mouths are! :)

    I love this…..Jay….Obby did promise revenge and this was absolutely HILARI….wait for it….wait for it….OUS!!!!! As for the comment about hungry people, some people really do need to take a pill. Of course Old Dutch donated these tarnished chips….no way Obby PAYS for these himself especially with no bonus cheque this year. LOL
