The Winnipeg Goldeyes are filling up their roster quickly, announcing two more signings this week.
Outfielder Cory Patton and pitcher Antony Bello were added on Monday. They are the ninth and tenth players on the 2010 roster, seven of whom are position players.
Patton, 27, saw action in 88 games for Winnipeg in his first season of independent ball following four years in the Toronto system. He batted .239 with 13 home runs and 52 runs batted in while drawing a team-high 57 walks.
Bello, 24, returns to action after taking 2009 off with shoulder trouble. He spent his first three seasons in the Houston system, going 13-14 in 51 games (45 starts) with a 3.85 earned run average.
