Dean Gunnarson Escaping for Food Bank

Dean Gunnarson Escaping for Food Bank

By Brian Schultz

Winnipeg escape artist Dean Gunnarson will do it again in an attempt to get out of a critical situation.

This time … it involves a 240-litre tank of beer.

Gunnarson will try to escape from the locked enclosure of foaming wobbly pop on Saturday to raise money and food for Winnipeg Harvest. Mr. Lahey, Randy and Cory from the TV show “Trailer Park Boys” will handcuff, chain and put Gunnarson into the keg. If there’s one thing these three men know, it’s beer — at least according to their on screen personas.

The show begins at 9 p.m. at the O.C. on Pembina Highway. The escape is set for 10 p.m.

At 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Mr. Lahey, Randy and Cory will appear at Winnipeg Harvest to package hampers.
