Grand Beach Tribute Band Concert Cancelled

The tribute band concert planned at Grand Beach for the May long weekend has been cancelled.

Tribute to Rock was supposed to feature 16 of Canada’s greatest tribute bands at the Festival Manitoba site.

The promoter for the event cites poor ticket sales as the reason for the cancellation.

Tickets purchased will be refunded at their point of purchase.

lol… when I first read the previous article posted here about this event I was like whoa Guns And Roses, Lynard Skynard, at grand beach may long weekend!?!!? I’m definitely going.

Now I read this about it being just a bunch of tribute bands. lol thank god it got cancelled otherwise I would have been seriously disappointed after heading all the way out there.
