Pet lovers united with each other and their pooches on Sunday for the Paws in Motion fundraiser at Assiniboine Park.
The annual walk-a-thon supports the Winnipeg Humane Society’s spray and neuter programs, and ensures the pet shelter has the resources it needs to continue caring for the thousands of animals that come through its doors each year.
About 2,500 people participated in the 3 km walk, according to Chris Boult, director of development at the WHS.
