Celebratory Fundraiser Bringing Music and Poetry Together

To mark the 40th anniversary year of St. Benedict’s Retreat & Conference Centre, a charity event is being held on Friday, September 17.

Local singer-songwriter Sierra Noble, and poet and artist Edwina Gateley will be providing music and poetry all evening.

Tickets are $40.00 ($20 tax receipt provided) and are available at St. Benedict’s, Ave Maria Gift Shop, Christian Supply Centre, Hull’s Bookstore and McNally Robinson Booksellers.

The celebration will be held at Jubilee Place Concert Hall — MBCI, 180 Riverton Avenue starting at 7 p.m. A reception will follow.

The Winnipeg Foundation made a $5,000 grant to St. Benedict’s in honour of their 40th year.
