A collection of over 200 Chinese language DVDs is being unveiled at 11 a.m. this morning at Pembina Trails Library.

The DVDs were donated by the Winnipeg Chinese Cultural and Community Centre (WCCCC) and include feature film, TV series and documentaries from China.

The donation is a huge addition to the library’s multilingual collection and will be located amidst a large Chinese community in the south end of the city.

The collection launch will be attended by Acting Deputy Mayor Gord Steeves and WCCCC president Dr. Joseph Du. Entertainment will be provided by The Winnipeg Centennial Chinatown Pageant Team with refreshments to follow.
