Winnipeg singer-songwriter Don Amero is set to launch his new album with two local shows next month.
The indie musician has been compared to the likes of John Mayer and Jack Johnson for his unique sound and will share his music with an audience on Saturday, November 6 and Sunday, November 7.
In support of Don’s third album, The Long Way Home, he’ll host a CD release party at the Pyramid Cabaret on November 6 from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. with guests Sonia Eidse and Cris Derksen. The show is presented by Aboriginal Music Manitoba and tickets are $10 at the door.
On Sunday, November 7, Don will play an all ages acoustic show featuring stories and songs from his new album. Sonia Eidse will be the special guest again, accompanied by Brad Woods. The show runs from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Good News Fellowship Church, 891 St. Mary’s Road. Tickets are $10 at the door.
