Winnipeg Blue Bomber Luke Fritz is in the final days of a competition against our rivals in Saskatchewan to win $50,000 for child hunger.
The lineman has been competing in the CFL Pepsi Refresh Challenge for the last month, where fans vote for their favourite CFL player to win the grant. Fritz is rounding up votes in support of Winnipeg Harvest’s Hunger for Hope Initiative.
Voting closes in a few days and the winner of the grant will be awarded on Wednesday, November 24.
Fritz is up against Saskatchewan Roughrider Rob Bagg, but we can’t let that happen.
Fans can vote up to three times daily, so if you have multiple computers and cell phones at your disposal, get clicking.
The grant will help feed the 19,000 children that rely on Winnipeg Harvest each month.
