The 11th annual Master Playwright Festival will keep you guessing when the eccentric and revolutionary August Strindberg takes the stage. The Swedish writer is known for pushing the boundaries in everything from subject matter to the way a show is produced.
The festival will run January 20 to February 6, 2011 at the Manitoba Theatre Centre.
“StrindbergPasses” are available for $75 and give festival-goers one admission to all 18 StrindbergFest productions. Individual tickets can be purchased for between $6 and $40 at the MTC Box Office at (204) 942-6537.
The festival launch will take place on January 12. Further details can be found at MasterPlaywrightFest.com.
