Animal Adopters Asked to Wear Pajamas to Humane Society

By Sarah Klein

The Winnipeg Humane Society is rolling out a new cat adoption promotion tomorrow called Whisker Wednesday.

The initiative aims to create curiosity and fun, while at the same time finding loving homes for the many available cats up for adoption.

A “Paw-jama Party” will kick off the monthly cat adoption promotion at The WHS. To take advantage of the promotion, all cat adopters will have to wear pajamas when they come to adopt a cat from the shelter. WHS adoption staff will also be decked out in nightwear.

Each “Whisker Wednesday” takes place on the last Wednesday of each month between 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. The adoption fee is $25.
