Beginning Thursday, new traffic signals will start operating at the intersection of Academy Road and Harrow Street.
The three-legged intersection will see lights flashing amber for Academy and red for Harrow during the first week. After that, they will begin functioning like regular traffic lights.
Only cyclists are allowed to travel north of the intersection, as a cement barrier prevents motorists from heading north on Harrow.
Pedestrians and motorists are reminded to treat this intersection just like any other signalized intersection in the city.
