Art Gallery Taking Public on Bird Watching Excursion

Art Gallery Taking Public on Bird Watching Excursion

By Brian Schultz

The Winnipeg Art Gallery is hosting a bird watching excursion this morning with world-renowned “birder” Rudolf Koes.

The excursion is part of the programming for Erika Lincoln: The Singing Condition, an exhibit running at the WAG until June 12. The Singing Condition explores the relationship between birds and the urban environment as experienced by the artist in her own back lane.

Participants will journey out on a walk that will eventually end back at the art gallery to tour Lincoln’s exhibit.

The bird watching excursion is included with gallery admission and takes place from 9:15 a.m. to 11 a.m.
