A 16-year-old boy was killed Friday evening after the dirt bike he was riding collided with a car.
RCMP say the crash happened in St. Laurent just before 8 p.m. between the dirt bike and a 1999 Chevrolet Cavalier.
The teen was pronounced deceased at the scene, while the 45-year-old St. Laurent man driving the Cavalier was not injured.
Visibility was reduced at the time and the dirt bike did not have a headlight. The teen was believed to have been wearing a helmet.
Alcohol is not considered to be a factor in the collision.
The name of the deceased isn’t being released.
