RCMP Investigate Stolen Coins, Post Office Break-In

Manitoba RCMP are asking the public for help in an investigation involving several stolen vintage coins.

Police say between December 24 and 29, 2011, a home in Niverville was broken into. Among the items stolen were a digital camera, and a collection of silver $1.00 and $0.50 coins dating back to the 1800’s.

As many as 48 mailboxes were broken into at the Lac du Bonnet Post Office between December 24 and 26, 2011, according to RCMP.

Police are investigating to determine if any mail was stolen.
