The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed import receiver Jeremy Blount and import defensive back David Pender Jr. for the 2012 season on Friday.

Blount — 5’9″, 157 lbs — racked up 49 receptions for 815 yards and six touchdowns over his four years at South Dakota, while also returning 87 kickoffs for 1,950 yards and one touchdown.

Pender — 6’0″, 172 lbs — played in three games for the Indianapolis Colts in 2010 after being a final cut of the Philadelphia Eagles in training camp. Before being signed to the Colts, Pander spent time on the Baltimore Ravens’ practice squad. He was claimed by the Cincinnati Bengals in December and attended training camp with the team last season, recording four tackles in the preseason before being among the team’s final cuts.
