Winnipeg Harvest is making it easy for fans attending Blue Bomber and Goldeyes games this season to make a food donation.
The “Tin for the Bin” campaign will be visible at Canad Inns Stadium and Shaw Park throughout the season, encouraging non-perishable food items to be donated by fans walking through the gates.
“Unfortunately, hunger doesn’t take a holiday during the summer as we continue to feed over 55,000 Manitobans a month with over half being children,” the food bank said in a release.
