The Winnipeg Goldeyes have placed right-handed pitcher Nick Carr on irrevocable waivers for the purpose of granting his release.
The 25-year-old has been on the team’s inactive list since June 11. In 11 games with the Goldeyes this season, he had a 5.06 ERA with a 1-0 record and four saves.
The Fish host the Québec Capitales for the final time Thursday as part of a three-game series. The opening pitch is set for noon at Shaw Park.
