Cancer Society’s Daffodil Gala Planting a Garden of Hope

Cancer Society’s Daffodil Gala Planting a Garden of Hope

The Canadian Cancer Society is planting a garden of hope for this year’s annual Daffodil Gala.

Planting Hope for Tomorrow will be held Saturday, October 20 at the Winnipeg Convention Centre, where guests will receive daffodil bulbs to plant in their own gardens to spread the symbol of hope in neighbourhoods throughout Winnipeg and Manitoba.

The evening will benefit cancer research and community programs that support the 6,100 Manitoba families that will face a cancer diagnosis this year. Gala guests will enjoy a champagne reception, gourmet dinner with wine, martini bar, fundraising auctions and dancing with Ron Paley and his orchestra.

Ticket information can be found at Cancer.ca or by calling (204) 774-7483.
