Police Charge Seven with Impaired Driving

The third week of the Winnipeg police checkstop program has resulted in seven people being charged with impaired driving.

Police stopped 1,101 vehicles and administered 36 breathalyzer tests. Of those, five drivers had their licences suspended for 24 hours.

Police also issued 15 traffic-related tickets, suspended three drivers and arrested one person for intoxication.
