Here’s a list of what’s open, closed and operating on reduced hours on Louis Riel Day, Monday, February 18.
Kildonan Place — 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
St. Vital Centre — 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Polo Park — 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The Forks — 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Manitoba Liquor Marts
All Winnipeg and Brandon locations (excluding Winnipeg’s cityplace), all Liquor Mart Express locations, Portage la Prairie, Thompson, Gimli, and Selkirk will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Liquor Marts will be closed in cityplace, Killarney, Churchill, Steinbach, Swan River, Pine Falls, and Carman.
All civic offices will be closed on Monday, February 18, 2013.
Recycling/Garbage Collection Schedule
For those residents with Monday as their weekly cart collection day, recycling and garbage will be collected on Louis Riel Day, Monday, February 18.
Recycling and garbage collection will continue as normally scheduled.
Brady Road Landfill
Saturday, February 16 — 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday, February 17 — 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Monday, February 18 — 5:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Winnipeg Transit will be operating on a Sunday schedule for Monday, February 18.
All Winnipeg Public Libraries will be closed on Monday, February 18.
All Leisure Centres are closed on Monday, February 18.
All City of Winnipeg swimming pools will be closed on Monday, February 18, except Pam Am Pool and the Cindy Klassen Recreation Complex. Pam Am Pool will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the Cindy Klassen Recreation Complex will be open from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Animal Services Agency
The Animal Services Agency will be closed on Monday, February 18.
Cemetery grounds at Brookside, St. Vital and Transcona Cemeteries will be open for visitation from dawn to dusk on Monday, February 18.
Winnipeg Parking Authority
The Winnipeg Parking Authority offices will be closed on Saturday, February 16 and Monday, February 18. The Winnipeg Parking Authority offices are not open on Sundays.
