A diorama showcasing buildings of Winnipeg’s cityscape was unveiled Friday at James Richardson International Airport.
Approximately 160 youth from the Youth Agencies Alliance (YAA) spent the summer collaborating on their ideal version of Winnipeg.
The diorama piece highlights how youth see the city and offers up a creative view of the unique neighbourhoods that comprise Manitoba’s capital.
The revealing of “My Winnipeg: A Diorama” took place on the main floor of the airport terminal, where it will remain on display for the next month. A nine-minute behind-the-scenes “making of” video was also shown.
