The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have added import offensive linemen Dan Knapp and Jarvis Jones to the practice roster.
Knapp played in all four pre-season games with the Oakland Raiders before being waived at the end of August. The Arizona State alumnus was signed to the Cincinnati Bengals practice squad in November and signed to the roster in January, being released in May prior to entering the NFL. Knapp played all four years of college football at Arizona and got 28 starts in 40 games.
Jones began his college career with LSU in 2007, backing up at both left tackle and right guard as the Tigers went on to win the ’07 National Championship. The Richmond, Texas native rotated at left tackle in 2010 with the University of Oklahoma, starting four games and was a backup on the OL for five games in 2011.
The Blue Bombers also released import offensive lineman Colt Shulte from the practice roster.
