Seven Oaks Pool has been temporarily closed in the interest of public safety so the water can be cleaned.
The City of Winnipeg said on Monday the facility at 444 Adsum Drive is closed due to a fouling in the pool.
Water testing and proper procedures are being followed to protect public safety. The pool will reopen once it has been determined that it is safe to do so.
Program registrants and user groups that are impacted by the closure will be contacted by city staff.
UPDATE: Wednesday, October 9 — The pool has since reopened after water tests came back safe.
