About the show:

Leonard Cohen’s powerful and inspirational music is the heartbeat for Chelsea Hotel, an eclectic cabaret of loves crumpled up and tossed aside like a writer’s first draft. Through Cohen’s transcendent songs and the honesty of his lyrics, we become witnesses in the search for words to cure love’s pain. Some of the Juno- and Grammy-winner’s most iconic songs are featured to intensely dramatic effect, including “Suzanne”, “Bird on a Wire”, “Tower of Song”, “Chelsea Hotel”, and “Hallelujah”, performed by a multi-talented cast of six musicians who also sing and dance. Check into the illusionary world of New York’s infamous hotel – a room full of music, enchantment, desire, passion and love.

“Chelsea Hotel — The Songs of Leonard Cohen” runs at PTE from January 23 to February 9.

Be sure to “like” PTE on Facebook and follow @PrairieTheatre on Twitter.
