An open house at the University of Winnipeg on February 19 is showing off what it has to offer as a post-secondary institution to prospective students.
Open House 2014 will be a chance for future students to meet with professors, talk with current students, tour campus buildings and labs, find out about the new United Health & RecPlex, and apply on the spot for admission.
“The University of Winnipeg is not just a campus, it’s a community,” said first-year arts student Rebecca Schur. “Through residence living accommodations and small classes, I have made many friendships that are dear to me. It’s a great environment for sharing thoughts and ideas, be it in the classroom or the cafeteria.”
The open house runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and in the evening from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. inside the Duckworth Centre, 400 Spence Street.
