The Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame will host a viewing party on Thursday as Winnipeg’s Team Jennifer Jones goes for Olympic gold in the women’s curling final in Sochi.
Sport Manitoba will open its doors at 145 Pacific Avenue bright and early in time for the 7:30 a.m. CT draw.
Pancakes, sausage, juice and coffee will be served. Admission is $5 and includes breakfast.
The St. Vital Curling Club will also host its own viewing party beginning at 7 a.m. The kitchen will be open for food purchases.
The Jones rink, made up of lead Dawn McEwen, second Jill Officer and third Kaitlyn Lawes, will face Sweden in the final.
