The Downtown Winnipeg BIZ has launched a refreshed website, complete with a responsive design and more organized layout.
The website is a popular destination for visitors looking for the latest and most current information and data about downtown shopping, dining, events, and market research.
“Downtown is developing at an exponential rate. We need to start marketing and celebrating our assets,” said Stefano Grande, executive director of the Downtown Winnipeg BIZ. “We have heard from the community — they want a simpler way to attain downtown information, especially on the go. We knew it was time to ramp up our communication tools to make downtown more readily accessible.”
The BIZ has also made it easier to search and find downtown retail, restaurants and other services, while providing a comprehensive catalogue of events and activities in the downtown — one of its most popular features.
Over the past year, the BIZ’s website has garnered 162,000 unique hits.
