The St. Norbert Farmers’ Market wants to take advantage of the lovely summer evenings as much as possible.
The Wednesday edition of the market will now run from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on July 30, August 13 and September 3. Usually the abbreviated weekday market closes at 4 p.m. outside of its usual Saturday run.
“Our three evening markets will offer live music, a display from the Red River Co-op Speedway, and lots of market vendors offering all that is Manitoba,” said executive director Marilyn Firth. “As always, everything sold at the market is made, baked and grown right here in Manitoba, by the vendors who sell at the market.”
The market is located on Pembina Highway next to St. Norbert Community Centre, just south of the Perimeter.
