Roads Around Human Rights Museum to Close

When the Canadian Museum for Human Rights holds its grand opening on Friday, a number of streets in the area will be closed to traffic.

Between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., York Avenue between Main Street and Israel Asper Way will be closed, as well as Israel Asper Way between William Stephenson Way and York Avenue.

Vehicle access to The Forks will be maintained via Fort Gibraltar Trail and Forks Market Road during the opening celebrations.

Motorists are reminded to allow added travel time and to use alternative routes in the area to get to their destinations.
