Man Charged After Police Spot Gun in His Pants

RCMP Crest LogoA St. Laurent man has been charged after RCMP say he was carrying a loaded handgun in his pants — and he wasn’t just happy to see them.

Police spotted the gun tucked into the man’s clothing while on patrol in Stony Mountain, Manitoba on Wednesday evening.

Reginald Bell, 22, has been charged with carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a restricted weapon with ammunition, and four other related criminal code charges. He was to appear in Winnipeg court today.

No injuries were reported.
