November Marked as Lung Month Across Canada

Manitoba Lung AssociationNovember is Lung Month across Manitoba and the country, as the event focuses on making people aware of how to protect and care for their breathing.

Health Minister Sharon Blady and Healthy Living and Seniors Minister Deanne Crothers officially made the proclamation on Friday.

During Lung Month, the public is asked share a breathtaking picture with friends and family through social media using #mybreathtakingpic hashtag, and include a short message of what takes your breath away.

November is also national Radon Action Month and the Manitoba Lung Association is urging all Manitobans to test their homes for radon.
