Suspect Sought in Armed Robbery on Notre Dame

Winnipeg Police CrestWinnipeg police are looking for a man after an armed robbery of a store in the 1000 block of Notre Dame Avenue.

The suspect entered the store with a weapon shortly before 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, where he demanded money from the employee. When a customer entered the store, the suspect fled before any cash was obtained. He then ran to a second business in the same building and again demanded money.

The employee ran to an office, where he saw the suspect steal merchandise and flee on foot.

No injuries were reported in the robbery.

Police are looking for a Caucasian man, between the ages of 20-40 years of age, 5’4”–5’6” tall with a slim to medium build.
