A single-vehicle crash in Norway House, Manitoba has killed one person and injured another.
The crash happened Saturday at around 3:20 a.m. on Paupanekis Point Road when the southbound pickup truck hit the shoulder and lost control, rolling the vehicle while trying to correct its steering.
Both people in the vehicle were ejected.
The 22-year-old Norway House man driving the vehicle was pronounced deceased in hospital, while his 34-year-old female passenger — also from Norway House — was taken to Winnipeg with life-threatening injuries.
Alcohol is considered a factor in the crash and neither person was wearing a seatbelt.
