WINNIPEG — Thirteen men have been arrested and charged after a historic sexual exploitation investigation by Winnipeg police.
Police began their investigation last October of an adult female victim, who said she was sexually exploited by a number of men from age 12 to 17.
Police say the victim would receive cash in exchange for sexual services to acquaintances of the her family.
The men age in range from 41 to 69 and have been charged with obtaining sexual services of a person under 18, sexual interference, sexual assault, and invitation to sexual touching.
All suspects have been released on promises to appear.
