A Manitoba mother-daughter food company has been named one of the top 10 to watch by Food in Canada magazine.
The industry publication has short-listed Piccola Cucina as one of the rising food and beverage stars in its latest issue.
“It is an honour to be listed as one of the top 10 food and beverage companies to watch,” said co-owner Pina Romolo. “It is a privilege to work in food manufacturing and being recognized by such a respected magazine is very exciting.”
This year’s coveted list includes a variety of products from across the country, including healthy snacks, specialty beers, and frozen treats.
Piccola Cucina specializes in Italian gourmet products made with the goodness of almonds. Each product is handmade and manufactured in a dedicated gluten-free commercial facility in Winnipeg.
Food in Canada has been publishing for more than 73 years and updates Canada’s food and beverage industry on key issues and trends.
