Winnipeg Police Seek Man Who Left Gun in Taxicab

Winnipeg police are trying to tack down a man who left a loaded gun in a taxicab last winter.

The man got into the cab in the early morning hours of February 1, 2015 in the first 100 block of St. Anne’s Road.

He got out in the 300 block of Blake Street, but left the firearm behind.

Police are looking to identify the man, who is described as 22-23 years of age and between 5’3″-5’4″ tall. He has a medium build, small moustache, wearing a toque, bomber-style jacket and jeans. He also has a tattoo on his right hand.
