Manitoba student filmmakers are showing off their best work on Wednesday at the second annual Canadian Red Cross Pink Day Film Festival.
Films were selected from schools across the province, and all have been nominated in their respective age categories. The short films share perspectives on bullying prevention and building respectful relationships.
The Park Theatre will host the screenings, with the most popular film receiving the RBC Believes in Kids Viewers’ Choice Award at the festival.
The public can still vote until the end of today by going to the Film Festival website and e-mailing their favourite to MB.RespectED@redcross.ca.
The festival will be streamed online beginning at 10:30 a.m.
The second 2016 Canadian Red Cross Pink Day will be held on April 13 and include festivities at schools throughout Manitoba.
