RCMP are investigating after 13 firearms were stolen from a home in Dauphin, Manitoba on Monday.
The break-in occurred sometime between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. with both pistols and rifles being stolen. A large metal gun safe was also removed from the house in the west end of the city.
Police have yet to identify suspects or recover any of the stolen weapons.
“For obvious safety reasons, we are concerned anytime firearms are stolen and end up in the hands of criminals,” said Sgt. Bert Paquet of the Manitoba RCMP. “We ask that anyone with information about this theft contact their police service immediately.”
