ManyFest 2016: Food Trucks, a Doughnut Contest and Pokémon?

ManyFestWINNIPEG — Finding it all downtown is a year-round kind of thing, but ManyFest will elevate the amount to see and do in the city’s core to an entirely new level.

The three-day festival happening September 9-11 revealed its complete programming schedule on Wednesday for the sixth annual event.

“ManyFest is truly a community festival bringing people together, downtown, from all corners of the city to enjoy Broadway, its rich history and a weekend filled with musicians, artisans, and fun activities,” said Stefano Grande, CEO of the Downtown Winnipeg BIZ.

“This year we’re excited to announce our new businesses — like Oh Doughnuts and The Common inside The Forks Market — are embracing ManyFest and finding new and exciting ways to get involved.”

Aside from the dozens of food trucks on site, ManyFest boasts live music, a wine and beer garden, markets, Giant Movie in the Park, Lights on Broadway, Ciclovia, 10 & 10 Race, and other fun family-friendly festivities.

Organizers are also incorporating the wildly popular mobile game Pokémon Go, dropping hourly lures in the kids’ zone, providing an opportunity to “catch ’em all.”

ManyFest will run from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on the Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

ChrisD.ca is a proud media sponsor of this year’s ManyFest.
