Planned Delay at Emerson Border for Emergency Exercise

Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA)

Travellers coming into Canada on Tuesday may experience a slight delay at the Emerson border crossing.

Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) and other area first responders will be conducting an emergency preparedness training exercise at the port from 9 a.m. to noon.

Canada-bound traffic will be briefly stopped between 9 a.m. and 9:15 a.m. Travellers may experience delays or increased wait times during, and immediately following this stoppage.

The Emerson port of entry will remain open at all times during the exercise and United States bound traffic will not be affected.
