The majority of this week has been quite unsettling as far as summer temperatures go in Winnipeg. The story has been the same north of the city in Winnipeg Beach.

These shots are from Thursday evening, as Lake Winnipeg’s waves crashed wildly several metres above beachgoers.

Perhaps the only upside to the unseasonal temperatures were these amazing colours in the sky as the sun faded for the day.
