If your gas tank is near empty, try to stretch it out until tomorrow before filling up.

A select number of Esso gas stations across Winnipeg will be donating one cent per litre to the United Way on Friday.

Along with the charitable initiative, Esso will also host community barbecues at the following four locations from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• 1330 Taylor Avenue
• 1015 Notre Dame Avenue
• 1059 Pembina Highway
• 2019 Pembina Highway
