The Plaza skateboarding park at The Forks will be the scene of Skate4Cancer this Saturday, as local bands come together to help raise awareness of cancer through educating youth on cancer prevention and early detection techniques.

The Lytics, Comeback Kid, Crisis Jane and a handful of others will perform beginning at noon. A skateboard competition will follow at 2 p.m.

The fun wraps up at this free event at 8 p.m. All ages are welcome.
