Burger King Planning Overhaul of All Restaurants
Posted by Brian Schultz

Burger King is in the process of remodeling all 12,000 of its restaurants across the world to have an ‘edgy’ and ‘futuristic’ feel.
The company says the new additions will include red flame chandeliers, flat TV-screen menus and sleek metal and stylish brick walls. Whatever they do to make it more visually appealing still won’t change the fact that a Whopper sandwich has 990 calories — which is almost half of what a regular person should eat in an entire day.
The new look comes with a hefty price tag, which will be passed along to the franchisees who operate 90 percent of the restaurants. The entire makeover will cost between $300,000 to $600,000 USD per restaurant.

Ah yes, what works in California will work in Winnipeg. How did those outside fireplaces do for McDonald’s ?? Gotta love slick tile floors in the winter.
What bugs me… I live on fast food it seems.. when I make the rare stop at a BK, I always come on chicken sandwich day. Every friggen time. I would love a fish burger, or something else.. but it’s like groundhog day.
BTW: BK is good for only one thing. BM.

Maybe BK is copying the new McD look at the NotreDame & Inkster McD location. Nice interior, but the food is just as nasty as before.
Is it my imagination, or are Winnipeg BK locations especially dirty and grubby? I like Whoppers, but sitting down in any BK location feels like I want to have a shower afterwards!!

BK is a “fastfood” chain!
I don’t know the purpose of the new look — attract more people to come in, or keep them in store longer?
Get a new look for 300K~600K? Feels like a Beverly Hills’ deal.
Flat TV screen menu, actually it should be called Digital Menu Board, to just show breakfast menu in the morning, lunch at noon, and ….
Hello! Now that’s an idea!
But it should just be a 20K item per store top. Franchise owners, get your numbers right!
