City of WinnipegWith the Thanksgiving Long Weekend upon us, there are several changes to the city’s normal operating hours.

  • All civic City of Winnipeg civic offices will be closed on Monday, October 12, 2009.
  • No garbage/recycling collection on Monday.
  • Brady Landfill will be open regular hours on Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Monday from 5:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Winnipeg Transit will be operating on a Sunday schedule.
  • All libraries are closed on Monday.
  • The Zoo will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the conservatory will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • All swimming pools are closed, except for Pan Am Pool, which will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • The Animal Services Agency will be closed Monday.
  • All Municipal courses are open from dawn to dusk over the long weekend. Call to book your tee times.
