The medals for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games were unveiled today. Each medal features contemporary Aboriginal artwork and are undulating rather than flat. The Olympic medals are square in shape, while the Paralympic medals are a super-ellipse.

Each design was crafted after direct input from both Olympic and Paralympic athletes.
